Regional Civil Society and Community Support, Coordination and Communication Platform – EECA
Mobilized communities, human rights and gender equality are important components of the response to HIV and TB epidemics all over the world. Understanding the importance of those processes, the Global Fund facilitates the delivery of comprehensive technical support (TS) to develop this area. Nevertheless, access of key populations to such support is restricted by a number of factors.
To solve this problem and create demand for TS in the areas of mobilizing communities, rights and gender, the Alliance in partnership with ECUO, EHRN, SWAN, ENPUD, ЕСОМ, and the TB Europe Coalition is implementing “The Regional Civil Society and Community Support, Coordination and Communication Platform for EECA”.
Key components of this project are creating an online system to share knowledge among stakeholders in the region; coordinating capacity building initiatives; training and facilitating the delivery and receipt of community-based technical support.
