This year, Global Village at the AIDS2026 conference will host the joint Ukrainian booth Ukraine’s Community Resilience: Global Lessons (Booth #126), created by the Alliance for Public Health and 100% Life.
This is more than an exhibition space. It is a space where we will showcase how, over the past 25 years, Ukrainian civil society organizations have evolved from pioneering HIV response programmes to developing digital solutions, mobile health services, and innovative models that ensure continuity of care even during a full-scale war.
Throughout the conference, the booth will serve as a platform for international dialogue. It will host thematic presentations, open discussions, meetings with international partners, and knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues from around the world.
The programme features sessions not only on Ukraine, but also on the experiences, challenges, and innovative solutions from countries and regions across the globe, including Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. This exchange of knowledge, best practices, and experience helps identify shared solutions to strengthen the global HIV response.
At the same time, the central focus of the booth will be Ukraine’s experience in building resilient communities and people-centred healthcare models—experience that can provide valuable lessons for countries responding to humanitarian crises and other complex emergencies.
Visitors to the booth will also have the opportunity to explore new publications by the Alliance for Public Health and 100% Life, which bring together Ukraine’s practical experience in adapting public health programmes during the full-scale war. These publications present proven approaches, case studies, and practical models that can serve as valuable resources for professionals, organizations, and countries working in crisis and humanitarian settings.
